At Elge Precision Machining, Inc., we can provide close tolerance CNC machining of round, hex or square bar stock. With multiple CNC lathes and screw machines, including multi-spindle Davenport screw machines, we are capable of providing cost effective machining at a range of production volumes. By offering multiple turning methods in house, the optimal machining method can be chosen for a given application. For prototypes, specialty projects, or low volume work, CNC lathes can be used to produce custom products without the need for dedicated tooling. Once production volumes increase, screw machines can be used to run high volume components with maximum efficiency.
In screw machining, specialized tools are used to create custom products, minimizing cycle time. With a large inventory of existing tooling, the required cutting tools to produce many fasteners, knurl pins, fitting, and other components may already be available. We are experienced in machining multiple types of metals and plastics including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and Delrin.
We are constantly updating our equipment to better service our customers. Check out our latest addition, the Miyano-Citizen 5-Axis Super Turning center with Automated Bar Feed System.
For over 75 years, our focus has been providing premium quality parts to customers in a variety of OEM industries. The typical turnaround time for a production run is 3 to 4 weeks, but rush orders can be accommodated as needed. Once a part has been established, multiple stocking and inventory management options are available, including JIT shipping, Kanban pulls, and blanket order releases.
